Family Engagement

If you’re interested in getting involved with your child’s educational experience from the very beginning, this is a great opportunity. As a condition of the FRC grant, we are required to have a Family Advisory Council. This group meets periodically throughout the year to: 

• discuss program strengths,
• brainstorm ways to improve programming,
• provide insight into the needs of the Branford community that we serve.

There are other opportunities to get involved with our FRC. Our Family Educator plans family events throughout the year, including during the summer. Because an FRC is meant to support the well-being of the entire family unit, siblings and other important family members are often included in our family offerings.
