About Our Pre-K
- Family Resource Center (FRC)
We are committed to supporting children’s learning and development through developmentally-appropriately practices. Our staff provide affordable, high-quality care and education for children ages 3-5, ensuring the best possible start for children and families of all racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds living in the Branford community. Our Pre-K program is accredited by NAEYC and offers a play-based learning environment that encourages exploration and problem solving.
Pre-K 4
Our Pre-K classrooms nurture the whole child in a play-based environment. We follow an emergent curriculum approach where student interests guide instruction. Our teachers recognize the potential to learn and succeed in all children; we meet each individual student where they’re at. The students in these classrooms benefit from a diverse student population.
Pre-K 3
Our 3-year old program is open to children that have been identified with exceptionalities, as well as peer mentors. Students participate in an integrated model, where learning takes place as children interact with each other and their environment.
